We are located near Crowley Lake, just south of Mammoth Lakes, CA. We are 7,000 ft. elevation in the High Sierras. McGee Creek is a year round creek running through the park. It is a hot spot for fishermen and outdoorsmen looking to get away from the big city. There are many area attractions and points of interest nearby. Rural setting with beautiful ponds and small water falls.

Comment: We were told that the full hook-ups were not available for Memorial Day weekend 2008, but that it would be okay to "share the power" with our friend who was at the next spot. We were also told that we wouldn't be charged for full hookups. We were assigned a spot in what I would call the "maintenance area" where several bags of fertilizer were placed right by our side door. Also, people confused us with an office and knocked on our door several times during the day. My husband and sons fish, but I went to rest and I couldn't. Then upon checking out, a very, very grumpy elderly woman accused us of "stealing power" and that she would let us "get away with it" that one time. We offered to pay for the power, but she refused, but was just downright nasty. She was the same one who told my husband it was okay to plug in at the next site. There is no way that we would have gone there without power because my husband uses a breathing machine at night, and we would have never gone there if there hadn't been an agreement about the power. Grumpy elderly woman, ugly campground, and we were placed in the maintenance area. Uh, no!

Comment: We would stay here again The maintenance people were in it they clean up almost immediately after guest left. Little had to back in to some of the sites but roomy once you in.

Joshua Tree offers excellent restaurants, stores for all of your shopping needs and a supportive business community. Joshua Tree continues to undergo vigorous growth and is a great retirement area for those wishing to retire in a Joshua Tree mobile home park.
