The Kankakee South KOA offers a quiet get-away-from-it-all retreat that just an hour south of Chicago. Good restaurants, golf courses, canoe trips and Friday night stock car races are nearby. Youre just 10 minutes from the Chicago Bears training camp. At nearby Kankakee River State Park, saddle up at the stables, then take to the scenic wilderness paths. Hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing and picnicking are other favorite park pastimes.
At the campground, activities include the pool, playground, basketball and volleyball courts and a game room - or relax under one of the big, shady oaks. Theres a pavilion and meeting rooms for your reunion or party.

Subject: Very disappointed
Comment: very disappointed in this place.Two many campers in this place as we were to close together.could see right in other campers. no private ness.very dirty showers.fighting on the camping grounds with other campers.people took off and left fire still burning. would not return there again.

Comment: Impressive campground with great amenities People in this park were mostly retired so really quiet place. Hehe Really nice sites with plenty of room.
