Willow Creek Campground is at the center of an historic hub of gold camps between Nevada City and Downieville, an area that features famous gold mining towns and significant landmarks buildings and monuments. Activities and services in the campground include outdoors games, creek wallowing, live music (country, blue grass, and honky-tonk, blues) barbeques, pool table, video games, outdoor movies, showers, laundry, RV dump and full hookups. We cater to families, young adults, and seniors who use small to medium-sized RVs (up to 36 feet), camper vans, pickup campers and tent camping. Those who boast middle age are most welcome, too. There are also furnished cabins with bathrooms, kitchenettes, decks, and picnic tables overlooking the creek.

Willow Creek Campground & RV Park is located in the Tahoe national Forest 24 1/2 mi. North of Nevada City/Grass Valley on State Rt 49 and 17 mi. South of Downieville on State Rt. 49. North Directions : From points North ie. Chico, Redding , OR & WA etc, go to Marysville & take Hwy 20 East 12mi. Turn left on Marysville Rd and go north over Bullards Bar Res. dam to Hwy 49. Left 4 1/2 mi. WC is on left. South Directions : From Nevada City/Grass Valley go North 24 1/2 mi. on Hwy 49. VERY IMPORTANT: Don't miss Hwy 49 N.exit just west of Nevada City. You will end up in Truckee!! East Directions : From Reno & points East take I-80 West past Truckee to Hwy 20 exit to Nevada City/Grass Valley. Go Hwy 20 approx 27 1/2 mi to Hwy 49 N. exit. This exit is on the right at bottom of hill BEFORE NC/GV West Directions : Points West & South take I-80 to Auburn. Take Hwy 49 N. Exit to Grass Valley. Go through Nevada City. At Broad St Exit on Hwy 20 get in LEFT lane for Hwy 49 N. exit,TURN LEFT and go N. 24 1/2 mi. WC on left.

We have 197 sites of which 20 are rental cabins and about 31 are pull-thrus, typical site width is 25ft, typical site length is 48ft. We are only a few steps away from a beautiful 9 hole par 36 golf course. We are about 5 miles from Joshua Tree National Park which offers hiking and biking trials. We are also only about 2 mile from the largest US Marine Corps base in the US, and for those of you that are retired military, they have a big 18 hole golf course.

Lazy H offers 17 RV sites, 12 of which are pull through sites, All sites include full utilities, including 50/30/20 Amp electric, phone connections and cable TV. Sites accommodate vehicles up to 48 feet in length. Small pets are welcome, so long as they are attended by their owners and leashed.

Lazy H also offers a 55+ Senior Manufactured Home Community with 44 single and double-wide spaces that are available for rent upon availability. Joshua Tree offers excellent restaurants, stores for all of your shopping needs and a supportive business community. We are located near Crowley Lake, just south of Mammoth Lakes, CA. We are 7,000 ft. elevation in the High Sierras. McGee Creek is a year round creek running through the park. It is a hot spot for fishermen and outdoorsmen looking to get away from the big city. There are many area attractions and points of interest nearby. Rural setting with beautiful ponds and small water falls.
